Hope Springs Eternal, and so it is, as March roars in like a lion and historically out like a lamb. We’ve weathered a tough year, we’re turning a corner, daylight savings time starts in one week, and the vernal equinox is in two weeks on March 20. Yay! So really, it’s not too early to think Spring Prep.

1. Outdoor Studio Cleanup and Trim – even though outdoor sessions typically start in mid to late May, it takes time, planning, and lots of work. 
2. Refresh props and trimmings in the studio as needed – a trip to Hobby Lobby is always welcome and helps get the creative juices flowing.
3. Daily Dozen to make sure I’m fit enough to tangle with the toddlers – ask me for my modified (ahem!) routine which stems from an Army program of years ago.
4. Start to schedule portrait sessions for Communions, Sweet Sixteens, Christening, Dress-up, and classic baby and children’s portraits to capture the Times of Your Life!
5. Schedule my dive trip down south for a great break in order to come back refreshed before I begin my busy season. Yay!
